REF : PM Modi is an anaconda, Andhra minister hisses out his analogy : IndiaToday
"Who can be a bigger anaconda than Narendra Modi?" Krishnudu asked.
THE IDIOT FROM ANDHRA, WHO DISHONOURED PM INDIA
Drawing the anaconda analogy, he accused the prime minister of having "swallowed all institutions" in the country. "He is swallowing up institutions like the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Reserve Bank of India," he said.
Anacondas are non-poisonous snakes that are mainly found in South America. They are among the largest snakes in the world and are unique because they swallow their prey.
"Every Tom, Dick and Harry is speaking of past politics. Past can't be present or future. But present and future will become past. The critics of TDP (Telugu Desam Party) should understand this. TDP was not established against any single party. It was founded against the system," he said in another comment to news agency ANI.
Krishnudu was recently in news after he faced backlash for asking the cash-starved Andhra Pradesh government to pay his personal medical bills for a treatment he had taken in Singapore.
Under public pressure, Krishnudu had to return the Rs 2.88 lakh to the government. He had taken this money to pay bills of a root canal treatment.
Nothing new :
This is, however, not the first time when political leaders have called PM Modi names and given him outlandish monikers.
*"What a mistake to demonetise our currency! BJP should have realised that Indian cash dominates the globe: look, even our Chhillar has become Miss World!" Tharoor tweeted
This morning (November 4), Shashi Tharoor took a dig at PM Modi and called him "a hero on a white stallion with an upraised sword in his hand".
"Modi is a one-man government and everybody is dancing to what he says," he said at an event, adding India now has the "most centralised PMO" in history.
Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas, thus reflecting on the recent verbal attacks, told ANI, "A competition is underway of who will abuse Modi ji more. But history is witness to the fact that whenever Modi ji is targetted, he emerges even stronger. When you have no issues left to attack the government, you indulge in name-calling."
This was not the first time for Tharoor too. On October 28, he quoted an "unnamed RSS source" who in 2012 had said "PM Modi is a scorpion siting on a Shiva Linga. You can't remove it with your hand nor can you hit it with a chappal (slipper)".
Recently, a Congress MLA in Maharashtra had called Modi a "dengue mosquito" who should be "removed using pesticides".
